Balance Wheel Group: Jazz band from Budapest

The Hungarian jazz quartet’s story started when Akos Dorogi and Robert Szili first met. They quickly discovered that they have similar views on music and have a set of compatible compositions waiting to be played, so in 2016 they have formed a group called Balance Wheel Group.

By the end of 2017 the members of the band were: Akos Dorogi keyboards, Robert Szili guitar, Zoltan Horvath drums and Alex Berkesi bass guitar.

In 2018 the first album was released: Balance Wheel.

In 2019 the band was reformed, Alex Berkesi was replaced by David Mihalovics at the bass guitar and the drummer Zoltan Horvath was replaced by Tamas Katai.

They issued their second album in 2021, called Pane Of Glass.

In 2022 the quartet released their third album, Stratosphere. 

Balance Wheel Group plays melodious, easy listening fusion-jazz with improvised playful solos.
